If you are at risk of losing your housing due to circumstances beyond your control:

• Please call the Homelessness Prevention Call Center by calling 3-1-1, and tell them that you need "Short-Term Help." Information & Referral Specialists will determine which funding sources are appropriate and available for your situation to provide rent, mortgage or utility assistance. Referrals are made directly to Chicago social service agencies.

If you are currently homeless:

• Please call 3-1-1. They will direct you to the nearest pick-up point to be taken to a shelter.
